GSOP IV
This Sunday 24th of January, GSOP is finally back with 17 new massive guaranteed tournaments. up is the popular Sunday tournament starting 20:00 CET with a guaranteed prizepool of $350K.
Between 24 January and 7 February 2010 there will be a total of 17 events with different buy‐ins and all guaranteeing big cash. The focus on the GSOP events are primarily No Limit Texas Hold'em but we also offer 7 Card Stud Limit, 5 Card Draw, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha hi/lo and Texas Hold'em limit events.
For every day during the period there is an interesting GSOP event starting at 21:00 CET. Qualifiers to the different GSOP events will be starting prior to one month before the first GSOP event so there are plenty of chances for players to gain entry into the different events no matter their bankroll.
All these 17 events hand out a Grand Slam ticket to the winner and also award points towards a leaderboard where the top 100 will get a chance to compete for three more tickets to the Grand Slam Final. The Grand Slam, with a buy‐in of $5,000 and a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000, is the final event in the GSOP.
During the GSOP period we are also scheduling daily qualifiers guaranteeing at least one ticket to the Grand Slam Final. This means that players can get a seat in the Grand Slam by winning one of the 17 GSOP events, by finishing in the top 100 in the leaderboard, by winning one of the cheap daily qualifiers or just buy in directly. Regardless of what stakes you as player favor, you will have multiple choices for a chance in the Grand Slam Final.
